Tuesday, 30th November, 2021, 12:00 – 1:30 UK

Over the last year there have been considerable learning opportunities from the response to the twin crises presented by the coronavirus pandemic and climate change.

This Sustainable Healthcare Coalition session will explore these lessons and identify what opportunities there are to accelerate future change. SHC Partners will present on:

Race to Zero – global acceleration for a net zero world: How Race to Zero (a UN-backed global campaign) is working with non-state actors in the healthcare sector to accelerate change to reduce carbon and taking rigorous and immediate action to halve global emissions by 2030, delivering a healthier, safer, fairer, and more habitable world.

Achieving a Net Zero Healthcare System Through Clinical Leadership: Discussing the importance of clinical leadership in demanding change.
Innovation: pointers to the future: A case study examining the significant role industry can play in delivering medical supply chains that are resilient to changing healthcare demands and environmental needs. This will also cover lessons learnt about supply chain management from the global COVID-19 vaccines rollout, as well as ways in which digital is transforming green healthcare, and how transformative challenges can be a catalyst for breakthrough change in green healthcare supply chain.
